These recordings are a vehicle for internal observation and self examination. Not of vanity, but of doubt and curiosity. They allude to a myriad of emotions, both positive and negative, that have taken place over the course of an indeterminate amount of time. They are meant to be highly personal and incredibly intimate, while also allowing space for reinterpretation. The reality of their expression may never be uncovered by the listener, but in a way that motive was severely intentional. Should the listener glean their own discovery from these recordings the objective of their production will be accomplished.

'Dasein', loosely translated from German as 'presence' or more commonly 'existence', is a conceptual philosophy widely accredited to Martin Heidegger and seen throughout his well known literary staple, 'Being and Time'. The vocal recordings scattered throughout these tracks are derived from either spoken word written by the creator of these tracks or by select passages read aloud from Heidegger's 'Being and Time'.

Above all else, allow your existence to be challenged, and your time to remain relative.
